Vinh Nguyen was born and raised in San Diego, California. Growing up in the midst of pop culture, he gained a lot of early inspiration for his dancing through watching Michael Jackson, music videos, and the rising dance community in Southern California. From the time Vinh stepped into his first dance class when he was 14 years old, he had no idea that this experience would launch his dance journey for years to come.
Over the years Vinh has developed a very unique approach to choreography. He has fused together a wide variety of dance foundations to discover his own movement. His signature style can be distinguished by his power, speed, and sharpness.
His reputation continues to circle the globe and gains tremendous traction in numerous dance videos. In achieving a name for himself, Vinh Nguyen has traveled to over 30 countries in the world; has worked with artists including the Chainsmokers, Cirque du Soleil, BTS, Max Schneider, YG’s IKON, SM’s EXO, Helene Fischer, Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas, and the NBA.
He has also shared the stage with the likes of The Backstreet Boys, Big Sean, and the Jabbawockeez. Currently, he resides in Los Angeles. Working beside one of the most renown dance companies in the world, the Kinjaz, who were finalists on America’s Best Dance Crew, and were featured favorites from Jennifer Lopez and NBC’s World of Dance.
Vinh has realized that his passions lies within creativity, the love for music and movement, and to help others discover their potential in being the best they can be.
Willing to learn what life has to offer and the experiences that it holds, Vinh is an open book and yearns to discover what creativity lies within collaborating with more artists out there in the same pursuit.
